On Thursday I had a visit from my friend Micah and his mommy and sister. He only stayed a couple minutes, but I liked him a lot. We played catch/pass with my princess ball and tennis ball. Neither one of us wanted to share them, so Micah's mommy gave one to each of us. First he stole mine, then I stole it back, plus the one she gave him so I had both. MIcah said "uh Oh" cuz he thought he should have them both, and that made all the grown-ups laugh. It was good to see him again. Yesterday I went to Chuck E. Cheese's for the first time. Auntie Becky, Uncle Greg, Auntie Karen, Bepah, Auntie Tia, and cousins Natalie, Connor, Erin, and Sarah were all there too! I did not like the rides at all. I was really scared of them. I would start screaming and cling to Mommy every time she tried to put me on one. I did like the games and the pizza though. I played basketball with Auntie Becky, and had my picture done. I think my favorite game was a big wheel game. Mommy pulled the lever down and I pushed the button to make the wheel stop spinning. It had lots of pretty lights and colors. I loved pushing that button! I liked Chuck E. Cheese too. He came out after doing a birthday party and I waved to him. My brother liked the rides. He rode a Teletubby ride and a Barney train. So we all had a lot of fun. I won 280 tickets, and as a prize I got a pretty pink necklace and 8 tootsie rolls. Thank you Auntie Becky and Uncle Greg for a great time! |

Prepping for Christmas
As many of you know, my daddy put up our Christmas tree a week before Thanksgiving this year. I love it! I like the pretty lights, and the colorful ornaments. They are shatter-proof so I can't break them, I've discovered that they bounce if I drop/throw them. It's been quite a task for Mommy trying to keep them on the tree. She is waiting to put on the candy canes because she knows that as soon as they're on the tree I'll pluck them off and eat them. Also, she and Daddy hid the presents. That way, I can't open them. Mommy says she's not going to put them under the tree until after I fall asleep on Christmas Eve. What a spoil sport! LOL
My brother likes the tree too, but he doesn't try to play with it. He just stares at it and smiles. Mama was going to take a picture, but she can't find her camera. She thinks I hid it, and she's probably right! On Saturday we are going to buy me a pretty Christmas dress. Then Mommy's going to take pictures of me and my brother all dressed up. She plans to make multiples of them and give them to people for Christmas. Well, that's if she can ever find her camera!

Trick-Or-Treat Training
I went trick-or-treating last Tuesday. I was dressed up as a unicorn and my brother was a horse. People kept thinking I was a dragon and he was a cow though and I think it irritated Mama a little bit. Anyway, I came home with a fair amount of candy, which Mama decided to use as a reward every time I go pee on the potty. Guess what! It didn't work. I still won't pee on the potty for Mama. She's still trying though. Someday I'll decide it's time to pee on the potty, and Mama hopes it will be someday soon. |

Escape Artist
I've become quite the escape artist. I have figured out how to climb over the gate Mommy put at my door, and I can open doors now. Mommy says she's going to get childproof knob covers so I can't get out. I like to let myself out back to play. Mommy doesn't like it. She says I have to wait for her to go out. I've also decided that it's ok to hurt Mommy and that it's funny to make her cry. She doesn't like that either. |

Update
Wow! It's been a long time since Mommy updated my site. I now speak in phrases, such as "Mommy, I'm mad at you", "Daddy, I need your help!", and "Kendrick, where are you?". Mommy says she's proud of me. I like to help Mommy around the house. I throw away trash and help sweep the floor. Sometimes Mommy even lets me help her do the dishes. She does the breakable ones and I do the plastic ones (after she cleans them I run them under the water). I love to give my brother hugs and kisses, and I like to push him in his swing and try to feed him. I play with him too. He's a lot of fun. I still take off my diaper and poop and pee all over the house. And guess what...it still makes Mommy mad. She says she doesn't know what to do with me. I like to put my baby dollies in Kenny's swing and push them. I also like to try to buckle them into Kenny's carseat. This annoys Mommy because later she has to readjust the straps or they will be too tight for Kendrick. Also, just so you know, I'm going through a huge Mommy complex. If she so much as turns around or backs up from me I start screaming bloody murder because I'm afraid she's going to leave me. Mommy still hasn't found a solution to this problem and could probably use some advice if you have any. I am binkie free, and Mommy says that soon she'll be taking away my sippie cup because I can drink from a big persons cup now. I am 32" tall and weigh a little over 26 pounds. Mommy says I'm getting to be such a big girl. I just tell her I love her. |

Summer Mix
Daddy got a new kind of soda called Pepsi Summer Mix and he left the box open and in my reach. Today I discovered that it smells fruity. I reached into the box and took out three cans of soda, one at a time, and built a pyramid with them on the floor. Then I took two cans, shook them, and threw them over my head. They hit each other mid-air and hit the floor. They exploded and soda flew everywhere. Kendrick and Mommy and I got a soda shower. Mommy wasn't too happy, but I thought it was really funny. Kendrick kept on sleeping; I don't think he really cared too much. Then, before Mommy could put Kendrick down, I sat in the mess and made soda angels. That made Mommy really upset. She put Kenny down, picked me up, stripped me, made me take a bath, and put me to bed. She said she was too upset to deal with me right then, so I was in time out. I decided it was time for a nap, and by the time I woke up Mommy had cooled down. She had also cleaned the messy soda. Darn, I was hoping to make more soda angels :) |

Playplace
Yesterday we were shopping at the Lilac Mall in Rochester, and Mommy and Daddy decided to eat at McDonald's. The one we went to had a playplace, and Mommy and Daddy let me play in it for the first time. I liked the slide, but I didn't like being up in the tubes. So what did I do? I sat at the end of the slide, smiling. Luckily, McDonald's wasn't very busy and none of the other kids came down the slide while I was there. I didn't want to leave and wasn't very happy when Mommy and Daddy said it was time to go. Also, the jealousy Mommy was expecting me to have when my brother was born has arrived. I've been crying every time I see Mommy holding my brother for the past couple days. That means I've been crying pretty much all the time because Kendrick really likes to be held. Sometimes Mommy lets me hold him while I sit in her lap. I like to hold my brother, but I sure don't like to share my Mommy with him. |

New Brother
I'm a big sister! My baby brother was born on Thursday April 12, 2007 at 12:53pm. He weighs 9 lbs. 10 oz. and is 22.25" long. He is a very big boy. I stayed with my Meme while he and mommy and daddy were in the hospital. Thanks Meme, I had a wonderful time with you! Mommy really appreciates all you have done for us. I got to see my brother yesterday. I know he's a baby, so I like him because he's a baby. I'm not so sure about him joining our household though. I don't think I'm going to like sharing my mommy with him. We'll have to see. Mommy, Daddy, and Kenny are at home, and Meme will be bringing me home to them soon. Mommy will let you know how I react to my new brother. |

Christmas
Mommy promised to tell you all what I got for Christmas. It's been a while since she updated my page because she wanted to add pictures. No pictures yet, but she's working on it! Anyway, I loved Christmas. I got a lot of cool stuff. My Gammy got me a Tumble Time Tigger. Mommy hates it because it won't shut up. She threatened to take out the batteries. Auntie Becky got me a Winnie the Pooh ball and I love it! I can pick it up, and kick it, and I'm learning how to play pass with Mommy. I also got lots of other neat toys. I got hippos and a little basketball hoop for the bathtub. I got a new dolly, some stacker block things, two walk and play toys, a toy gumball machine, a couple videos, and some books among other things. Some people from my Meme's work gave our family some presents; and I got a Turbo Tail Tigger, some other little toys, shampoo, and lots of pretty clothes. No offense to anyone if what you got me isn't listed. Mommy can't remember who gave me what for all my gifts. She says next year she's going to write it all down. Anyway, I loved all my presents, and I love the people who gave them to me even more! |
