Daddy got a new kind of soda called Pepsi Summer Mix and he left the box open and in my reach. Today I discovered that it smells fruity. I reached into the box and took out three cans of soda, one at a time, and built a pyramid with them on the floor. Then I took two cans, shook them, and threw them over my head. They hit each other mid-air and hit the floor. They exploded and soda flew everywhere. Kendrick and Mommy and I got a soda shower. Mommy wasn't too happy, but I thought it was really funny. Kendrick kept on sleeping; I don't think he really cared too much. Then, before Mommy could put Kendrick down, I sat in the mess and made soda angels. That made Mommy really upset. She put Kenny down, picked me up, stripped me, made me take a bath, and put me to bed. She said she was too upset to deal with me right then, so I was in time out. I decided it was time for a nap, and by the time I woke up Mommy had cooled down. She had also cleaned the messy soda. Darn, I was hoping to make more soda angels :) |

Playplace
Yesterday we were shopping at the Lilac Mall in Rochester, and Mommy and Daddy decided to eat at McDonald's. The one we went to had a playplace, and Mommy and Daddy let me play in it for the first time. I liked the slide, but I didn't like being up in the tubes. So what did I do? I sat at the end of the slide, smiling. Luckily, McDonald's wasn't very busy and none of the other kids came down the slide while I was there. I didn't want to leave and wasn't very happy when Mommy and Daddy said it was time to go. Also, the jealousy Mommy was expecting me to have when my brother was born has arrived. I've been crying every time I see Mommy holding my brother for the past couple days. That means I've been crying pretty much all the time because Kendrick really likes to be held. Sometimes Mommy lets me hold him while I sit in her lap. I like to hold my brother, but I sure don't like to share my Mommy with him. |
